At the end of 2008 we had the honor of being awarded a star by the prestigious Michelin Guide for 2009, a star that has been our companion ever since and in which we take great pride.
At home here in Spain, our work was rewarded in 2009 with a sun in the famous Repsol Guide, and has been recognized with two suns since 2012.
Best Andalusian Chef
One of our first moments of recognition came in 2005, when our chef Julio Fernández won the title of Best Andalusian Chef, with his recipe for "Poularde farcie with its livers, creamy rice with truffles, spiced with cumin and oregano".
The prize was awarded on February 23 of that year at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Sevilla, Taberna del Alabardero, where eight candidates from Seville, Cádiz, Málaga and Jaén gathered to compete for the title. More than thirty recipes were presented in the competition, organized by the Asociación Empreserial de Hostelería de Sevilla, led by its president, Juan Robles, and the Asociación de Jefes de Cocina de Sevilla y Provincia, with Juan Martín.
